Unraveling the Siren's Song | The Merfolk of Bristol Cove | Paisley City | 1768 AD

Around the year 1700 AD, a peculiar event unfolded when Thomas O'Shea found himself on Earth, a planet vastly different from his own. His arrival was marked by a chance encounter with Aileen, a mermaid hailing from Bulgaria, who was stranded on a small rock near the Komandor Islands in the Bering Sea. Aileen's ethereal presence was juxtaposed against the stark reality of O'Shea's homogeneous world, where every inhabitant bore a striking resemblance to him. This contrast sparked a curiosity in Aileen, prompting her to request O'Shea to sketch or draw images of his fellow beings. To her surprise, each depiction rendered by O'Shea mirrored his own likeness, a reflection of the uniformity that defined his home planet.

The enigmatic circumstances surrounding O'Shea's journey to Earth added another layer of intrigue to his story. It was revealed that his departure from his planet was not a mere coincidence but a result of a summons from Pollux [2], a figure steeped in Greek mythology. The mysterious connection between O'Shea and Pollux hinted at a larger cosmic narrative at play, intertwining the threads of ancient lore with contemporary reality. As O'Shea navigated this unfamiliar terrain, the echoes of his past and the beckoning call of destiny intertwined, shaping his journey in unforeseen ways.

The meeting of O'Shea and Aileen, two beings from vastly different worlds, symbolized a convergence of divergent paths, a moment where the boundaries of the known universe blurred. Their encounter transcended mere chance, hinting at a deeper cosmic design that bound their fates together. As O'Shea grappled with the complexities of his existence and the mysteries that shrouded his origins, the presence of Aileen served as a guiding light, illuminating the uncharted territories of his soul.

Sea Cow [4]

O'Shea stumbled upon Aileen in a dire situation, stranded and helpless. Without hesitation, he decided to use his mystical powers to transform both her father and younger sister into magnificent Stellar Sea Cows. Little did they know that the process of becoming merfolk was not as simple as they had imagined. It was revealed that only those possessing the exact "hourglass" proportions could attain the coveted status of merfolk, while the rest would be transformed into one of the four sirenian species based on their origin.

As Aileen stood on a snowy outcrop in the heart of the vast Bering Sea, witnessing the astonishing transformation of her loved ones into massive, blubbery sea cows, she couldn't contain her excitement. "Stellar!" she exclaimed, a mix of awe and joy in her voice as she beheld the miraculous sight before her. The once-human individuals, now part of the sea cow species, were henceforth known as "Stellar's Sea Cow" in honor of Aileen's jubilant reaction to O'Shea's magical intervention.

The Saint Peter

Khafre, a legendary figure known for his seafaring adventures as Sinbad the Sailor, bestowed upon O'Shea his very own ship, the Saint Peter. O'Shea, accompanied by Aileen, set sail from the Komandor Islands of the Bering Sea, embarking on a journey that would forever alter the course of their lives. Their voyage led them to encounter a group of mermaids and a merman, a total of 18 in all.

Peter, with a heart full of compassion, housed the merfolk in aquatic tanks aboard the ship with O'Shea, safeguarding them as they made their way to the shores of southern New Jersey. As the ship approached its destination, Khafre and Mila, anticipating the arrival of the merfolk, prepared a magical potion from Mila's Cauldron to grant the Merfolk the ability to transform into humans and start anew in Paisley City.

However, their newfound freedom was short-lived, and eventually fate led them to Bristol Cove, Washington. [6]
