Christine was a young mermaid who lived near a coral reef with thousands of colorful bright fishes. The fishes were multi colored and swam in different directions depending on the flow of the tides. She waited every afternoon for her best friend Evangeline to swim through the crevasse in the reef so they could watch the dolphins and manta rays that floated lazily by with the ocean current.
A blue octopus whispered to Christine as she swam by, "Have you seen Evangeline? Where could she be?"
A bright blue octopus winked at Christine as it floated towards her and a small group of bright red fish near a patch of coral swished their tails in unison. Silver tipped fish gathered by her feet, and the blue octopus whispered to Christine as it swam by, "Where is Evangeline? Have you seen Evangeline? Where could she be?" An elephant peered around querulously from behind the storybook. The zebra was sniffing for clues and a few newspaper butterflies led the way.
